I Demand A Do-Over

Things I'd rather not do on my birthday (and yes, it's today):
Clean the bathroom and put in a load of laundry.

Things I'd REALLY rather NOT do on my birthday:
Clean the bathroom, including scrubbing the bathtub, because the Boy has a serious case of explosive diarrhea, requiring me to also put in a load of laundry with his clothes and the bath mat. Luckily, we still have some pull-ups or I'd really be miserable.

At least I have some chocolate that the Man brought me back from London.

Oh, and something else that totally is not cool? The shop lost my birthday present. They can't find it anywhere. Since it was rather pricey, it was the only thing I was getting. So no presents.

Let's pretend that it's really my birthday next week and try this again, shall we?

You definitely get a do over! I insist.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! It's always fun to make new friends.

And really, do something nice for yourself tomorrow if you can. A bubblebath with chocolate, maybe?

You deserve it.

Happy Birthday!!

I thought this was your "Birthday week" which means that you still have 6 days left to celebrate.

At least you did get some chocolate.

Man, I just kicked my magic lamp to the curb.
My last wish was used on dinner.
That didn't really work very well on that sooo, not sure if it would have done you any good.

Happy belated birthday anyway!!!

That is a pure bummer. I can't even imagine how disappointing that must feel. Happy Birthday do over.

Happy Birthday anyway! We are all celebrating that you were born, so you could be here now, to help us smile.

Congratulations! I just spoke to the Executive Board of Birthday Celebrations and they asked me to inform you and your family that you not only get a do-over but also a weeks (or however long you need) extension on the celebratory activities and pampering in honor of your birth. I am so happy for you!

...If I had one wish then it would be a happy, happy birthday to you from me!

Birth *day*? Birth *week*? My friend, as a mother of two and preggers with a third, you are entitled to a birth *month*! Non-stop pampering all month.

Hey, your actual birth day required some mess clean up and diapers as well right?

Sorry your day wasn't what you expected. It's never as magical as it was when we were kids huh? But chocolate heals all wounds, or at least stops the complaints for the few minutes that we're eating it right? Go read Twilight again, you'll feel better.

Happy Birthday Jess!! Glad you had chocolate to help a little bit. I haven't had good luck with my b-days lately. Last year I got released from the hospital after having our baby girl and my Mr.Thavee didn't do anything for me...I was not happy especially after having gone through labor just a couple days before. This year we will be on the road moving cross country, so I'm not expecting anything. Sad Sad Sad.
