Perdoneme

Do you watch Psych? It's about a guy who basically has a photographic memory but pretends to be psychic as he helps solve cases with the police. We love it! The Man thought it would be dumb and tolerated it for my sake, much like I tolerate watching college football. It only took a few episodes and he's hooked. Wish I could say the same about football...

There was one show a little while back where the main characters are investigating a murder on the set of a Spanish soap opera. Have you seen those? They are over-the-top dramatic, extremely cheesy and make the actress in me run away screaming. And they're funny. Of course, I don't speak Spanish beyond "No habla Espanol" (required when people call trying to find the previous owners of our phone number), so the jokes kinda go over my head. This episode was particularly funny because Aunt Denise teaches Spanish. Sometimes da Boo makes up words and tries to convince Aunt Denise that she is speaking Spanish "just like Dora." Unfortunately for da Boo, Aunt Denise isn't fooled. Then I discover this little gem:

Besides, it's been a while since I last posted a YouTube video. :)

That was TOO funny!

WE LOVE PSYCH, Daniel at first was like "the man" but now we both just laugh and laugh! I think it is a our age thing, cause my parents don't "get" it. I can't wait for the new season.

That was VERY, VERY, Funny! I am so sending that to Brown Boy and Pygmy Child who both speak spanish and find my lack thereof, hilarious!
In fact, when Brown Boy was here once, he videotaped me reading the spanish instructions off something and then went home and showed his relatives who laughed uproariously at my dorkiness.

Hilarious education in Spanish verbage. What a riot. I love people with a good sense of humor. Thanks Jessica. It was worth the stop by.

El elephante es grande-that's what I remember from two years of spanish-along with all the little phrases from the song! That was pretty funny! Me gusto!

Thanks for the instructional video. Heehee Though the video would have been much better if his shirt was buttoned up to his neck, I suppose it did add to the Spanish humor of the video.

How do you go about discovering these videos?
That was pretty good though.
Can't say I've seen Psych, sounds like it's worth a try, I'll rev up the TiVo.

Funny video! Too bad I took French instead of Spanish in high school.
Our son has a photographic memory. He can look at his spelling words one time and get 100% on the spelling test, yet he can't remember where he left his shoes.....

That was hillarious! I don't know how that chica kept a strait face through that. You could tell she wanted to laugh a couple of times though. I've never seen Psych, I'll have to watch it sometime.
