What I Did This Morning...

Birthday Party for a friend of da Boo's. Her mom really helped me out with my Christmas cards so making the cake was the least I could do. It was a My Little Pony-themed party and for those of you without little girls in the house, this is Pinkie Pie Pony. I got the idea from Family Fun and then proceeded to mess everything up so it would look like one of my cakes.

P.S.
Happy Anniversary to my beautiful sister, Lyn, and her husband, Mark!

Very cute cake!!! I made a cake after one in Family Fun for Brian's birthday in Sept. It was a firetruck!! I am not a pro like you though!! It looks great!!

Em - It's Cherry Chip with Amaretto flavored frosting (kids don't notice the frosting flavo but I think it's tastes better than just powdered sugar and shortening).
Kristie - Oh, I am no pro! (But thanks!) I just like to force people to let me make cakes for them. And then when people ask if I am "just a mom" I can reply, "No, I'm a cake decorator." Once again, everything is about me. Even a five-year-old's birthday cake. ME!

When I first saw the cake I thought you had made this beautiful cake and then sent the picture to your beautiful SISTER-IN-LAW Olivia!! I agree, the cake looks VERY professional. I have this thing against making cakes that take a long time because people just eat them up WAY too fast!! I love your blog, Jessie. Have a good day.
