An Open Letter Because I'm Feeling Irritable

Dear Neighbor,

Your phone is ringing. And ringing. AND RINGING. Answer it, already! If you don't want to answer it, either turn off the ringer or shut your window. That phone is insanely loud and annoying and my baby is trying to sleep. And who is calling you every two minutes? (Yes, I'm timing it...it's every two freaking' minutes!) They need to get a clue already.

Signed,
The person who is going to throw a brick through your open window!
(Okay, that's not true. I'd never throw a brick...)
The person who will hurl a dozen pink-frosted cupcakes through your open window

I love pink frosted cupcakes. You're welcome to toss them through my open window anytime.

Enjoyed your post!

Found you through SITS FB today. Your avatar caught my eye. I also checked out some of your cakes. Yum! I wouldn't mind a dozen cupcakes thrown through my window either.

I would call myself just to get a dozen pink cupcakes.

That is their evil plan to get your delicious pink frosted cupcakes. They are calling themselves from their cell phones and waiting for the treats to fly through the window.

I am so with you on this one. We have modular offices at work and one particular coworker has her phone going off every 5-8 minutes, it was horrible. At least change the ring tone or hey even better, put it on vibrate so you do not disturb your fellow coworkers.

At least I moved my office and now I have my own and I am not in a modular setting.

Me too! Wish I was your neighbor I would find all sorts of ways to irritate you if I got cupcakes!

If I were still your neighbor, I would let my phone ring endlessly so I could get a dozen cupcakes thrown at me! Yummy!

maybe they aren't home and the only number they know is their own, so they keep calling themselves for help and keep hoping someone will pick up.... maybe you could answer it! Maybe you'd be a hero then! Then you could leave the cupcakes on the counter and they would love you forever and ever! and maybe write a song about you that would make it to number one on the billboard and then you'll be a hero and loved and famous! Then you can go on talk shows and write a book and do a advice column and a radio show! and then you will be a hero and loved by millions and famous and adored! and then you can have a cake showw....

So are you saying I just have to annoy you when I get home and threaten the baby's sleep patterns to get a dozen cupcakes? Hmmm....what do I have to do to get a dinner? Oh and maybe you could ask your neighbors to get one of those musical ringers like Mozart so then the ringing of the phone would put baby into a deep sleep.

You live on the other side of my next dooe neighbor don't you? I feel your frustration.

I would go knock on the door & tell the neighbor that their phone is waking my sleeping baby...with colic...and you just put them down...after being sick for 2 wks. Guilt is an amazing thing :o)

Later today, when you hear the obnoxious car horn honking in front of your house, don't worry, it will be me, parked in got driveway, waiting for pink frosted cupcakes to be thrown in my car. I will roll down the windows and open the sunroof just to make it easier for you.

I agree with Lola. Throw broccoli at the neighbors

Um, could we frost them with chocolate instead? If so, toss them my way. To I have to be annoying to get cupcakes or is being nice okay too?
