I said: "Go clean up the toy room while I make your lunch."
He heard: "Go find random things to dress up in so when I call you for lunch and you show up looking like this, I'll have a good reason to eat chocolate all afternoon."
Last night we went to da Boo's preschool graduation. Pictures coming! Fighting some allergies and hate having to wipe off the computer monitor every few minutes.

So funny and yet so creative and yet so maddening and yet so normal.
he is creative! At least he didn't put anyting gross on his head! Could've been way worse! Love the date story-glad to know that I am not alone in the hellish date department!
On another subject-I am hosting a swap-boxes go out june 3rd. We are doing the first letter of your name. Fill a box with things that start with that letter, or think of a theme that starts with that letter. 10$ limit. If you are interested, go and check it out-there are 3 posts about it, you will just have to go back a couple.
CUTE!!!!! I like your carpet color b/c it looks like it would hide stains:)
When are we going to hear this SECRET?????!!!!
My kids have hearing like that also.
However, when I'm making cookies, they can hear the kitchen timer ding from the depths of the basement with the television on full blast.
I wrote a post about what the kids hear me say in the morning;

You asked for comments, so here coms mine :-)
It's great that you journal all these funny childhood things in your blog. Your kids will love reading them when they're grown a foot or two. Hope you're keeping hard copies somewhere.
Oh my goodness...that's so cute! I tell ya, he and Ry-Dog would have way too much fun coming up with all kinds of creative outfits together! I think your kids need a trip to Disney World?
I am always suprised by what my children actually hear. Is that a Humidifier filter on his head?
So cute!!! I love kids' selective hearing!!! :)
Seriously. What is on his head?!
I only wish he had his glasses on because they are my favorite.
Yes, that is the humidifier filter on his head. He found that it wouldn't fit down as far if he had his glasses on, hence the reason they are missing. And you can't really tell but his shorts are on backwards, too.
The kid is so creative. Perhaps he can take Clinton's place on What Not to Wear when he gets too old to do it anymore?
