Cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow
For babies grow up, we've learned to our sorrow.
So quiet down cobwebs, dust go to sleep.
I'm rocking my baby,
and babies don't keep!

I love that poem. Thanks for sharing!
SO cute! Sounds like a perfectly great day!
Good for you! Keep tending to that sweet little one.
I agree babies grow WAY to fast!!
Does this count for one who is still growing her baby? Thanks Jess, I needed a reminder that I am excited for this baby to come. I'm excited to have a baby to rock and snuggle with again! They grow out of the snuggling stage way before I'm ready for them to.
Uh....yeah! That's why I haven't cleaned lately!
I need to go find my kid and rock him whether he likes it or not!
Aggreed, even though sometimes on days (like the one I had today), you can hardly wait till they are grown up and out of the house!!!
I love that poem. Keep up the good work with your little ones!!
What a sweet poem!! Thanks for sharing...I'll have to share that one with my husband, as soon as we have kids ;o)
Love that poem, too. Enjoy that new little one!
You need to read the whole poem, it is called Song for a Fifth Child. That mama had surely learned what is important. And you know the best part? Your children will not remember if the house was messy, but they will remember you playing with them. At least that is what my kids say! You are choosing the better part.
I also love that poem. Enjoy your snuggle time!
I whisper that in Kenny's ear as I rock him to sleep each night. (I wish!) Thanks goodness for Sparky!
Hey, that's alright! And she's so cute, I'd hold onto her, too! (p.s. Diane, if you look at this, your blog is not letting me leave posts. What do I do?)
Sometimes it is so hard! Holding those babies is so important. This comment should take you to my new blog address.
Amen to that!
Good for you!
