Our fearless combatants.
Shake hands...er, wait, no hands. Hmmm...shake...sugar crystals.
Yellow took the opportunity to talk some smack to Pink, saying that Pink was a pansy.
I think Pink might have blushed a little.

Peeps, to arms!
(Toothpicks are deadly weapons when you're made of marshmallow.)
In the arena.
Tensions are running high at this point.
Flustered by Yellow's taunting, Pink is ready for the starting beep.

And the battle ensues!
Both contestants are feeling the heat now.

PINK delivers a mighty blow -- er, rather, poke!
Oh, Yellow never saw it coming. He was looking the other direction.
Oh, the HORROR!
Deflated from their efforts, both peeps are done for.
To the victor go the spoils...or in Peep Wars, the kids get the gooey stuff (but its not nearly as poetic).
Hope you enjoyed our Peep Wars. (I promise, I'm taking a photography class at the Casual Blogger Conference so hopefully, these photos will improve.)
And if you'll excuse me, I'm off to clean my microwave.

Nice! My friend roasts them over a fire.
LOL, that was awesome! Poor little guys, blown up in the middle of a dual. I think there's foul play a-foot.
Although I must confess, I think peeps are disgusting.
Too cute! and FUN! Are they tastier cooked?
I've always wondered what they would taste like roasted over a fire.
I've never tried this but I've wanted to for a while the pictures are awesome I love it!
They kinda taste like roasted marshmallows that have been wrapped in cotton candy. I want to put 'em on s'mores some time.
peeps are a truly wonderful thing :o)
I might just need to try this.
Will it be the same with bunny peeps? That's all I could find.
When I was little, my grandpa always gave us peeps which we hated. One year, my brother and I discoverd the microwave for them too and that provided hours of entertainment at the exploding chickens!
Okay that is funny. And it made my mouth water a bit. Is it wrong that I like peeps?!? Don't judge.
Found you on MMB and the CBC group. Love your blog.
Loved the show, thanks!
AT LAST. I now know what to do with those Peeps that have been sitting in the back of the car for two weeks. THANK YOU.
This is the coolest Easter tradition ever.
LOVE this post!! You are funny.
